About

I am currently a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Waterloo, working with Dr. Stephanie Denison.

I received my PhD in Experimental Psychology at UC San Diego in June, 2023. While there, I worked in Dr. Caren Walker's Early Learning and Cognition Lab. Before graduate school, I received my BA from Sarah Lawrence College and worked as a researcher in Dr. Elizabeth Bonawitz’s Computational Cognitive Development Lab at Rutgers University, Newark.

I study how children and adults seek to ‘figure out’ the world around them. In particular, I am interested in how learners make decisions during exploration. My research is currently funded by the Jacobs Foundation Young Scholar SEED Research Grant and the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council Insight Development Grant, as well as in the past by the UC San Diego Coats Robels Fellowship and the National Defense Science and Engineering Fellowship Program.
